Dubuque Organizations Collaborate on Flood Relief and Volunteer Opportunities
Dubuque Mayor Roy Buol, Dubuque County Supervisors Chairperson Donna Smith, and Dubuque County Emergency management Agency Coordinator Tom Berger hosted a news conference together with members of City Council and representatives of the Dubuque Area Chamber of Commerce, Dubuque Main Street, Community Foundation of Greater Dubuque, and Senator Harkin's office on Monday. Topics covered included an update on flood recovery efforts in Dubuque County, assistance local organizations are offering other impacted Iowa communities, as well as opportunities for local citizens to volunteers help. ...

Southwest Tech Offers Training to Help Wisconsin Businesses Win Government Contracts
Southwest Wisconsin Technical College (SWTC) will help area businesses learn how to effectively compete for contracts to sell their products and services to the federal government at a training seminar to be held
on Tuesday, July 22, 2008. The training session will be conducted by the Business Procurement Assistance Center (BPAC) at Southwest Wisconsin Technical College’s Fennimore campus. A $30 fee for the seminar will cover the cost of materials.

365ink Editor Tim Brechlin will once again don the stylish orange vest along with 365 Publisher Bryce Parks and park cars at fireworks until there's no more room to pack them in. Hey, it's what we do! We wish everyone a safe and happy Independence Day weekend and we'll see you at the big show tonight!

The Dubuque Jaycees and the stations of Radio Dubuque (KAT-FM, KGRR, KDTH, and The River) welcome you to the Fireworks on the Mississippi! Dubuque biggest fireworks show ever is to begin at 9:46p.m. set to simulcast music from KAT-FM, KDTH, KGRR & THE RIVER. But first, come down early for what is always an AMAZING air show from 6:45 - 8:15 p.m. Parking available from the Dubuque Jaycees. $10 fireworks donation.
