Dubuque Organizations Collaborate on Flood Relief and Volunteer Opportunities
Dubuque Mayor Roy Buol, Dubuque County Supervisors Chairperson Donna Smith, and Dubuque County Emergency management Agency Coordinator Tom Berger hosted a news conference together with members of City Council and representatives of the Dubuque Area Chamber of Commerce, Dubuque Main Street, Community Foundation of Greater Dubuque, and Senator Harkin's office on Monday. F.I.S.T. 30th Anniversary Celebration
Were you in the production crew or an extra on the set of Sylvester Stallone's movie F.I.S.T.? Have you always heard about F.I.S.T., the major motion picture made in Dubuque in 1977, but never had the opportunity to see it on the big screen? 30 years after its original release, Carnegie-Stout Public Library in Dubuque will show F.I.S.T. on Thursday, July 31, 2008 at 6 p.m. in the 3rd Floor Auditorium. Admission and snacks are free, and open discussion will be encouraged after the show.
