Distinguished Mathematics Educator Award presented to UWP's Fredric Tufte | The Wisconsin Mathematics Council has presented the Distinguished Mathematics Educator Award to Frederic Tufte, professor emeritus of mathematics at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville. The award is given to recognize exceptional leadership and service to the Wisconsin mathematics education community. Tufte, who retired in 2004, was a faculty member at UWP for 38 years. ...more
