Over the next few days we will be rolling out all the new features of a much improved 365. There may be a few bumps, but we are so excited about expanding our scope throughout the larger TriState region that we decided to move ahead. So keep checking back over the next week to see what's new. And please, share your story or event with thousands of readers who visit 365 every day. By the way, it’s still all free!

All the Way Home: The Tri-States Veterans Conference

The purpose of the Tri-States Veterans conference is to both thank the veterans of the Tri-State area, as well as to showcase the programs and services aimed towards serving veterans' needs.

The conference will provide a forum for veterans and their families to access services in the Dubuque area (including pension, healthcare / pharmacy benefits, education, home loans, rehabilitation), as well as reach out to those veterans who might not know where to turn for help, or might not seek services due to fear of stigma.

In addition, the conference will be an opportunity for the Dubuque community to have a forum to thank veterans for the service.

Two featured speakers will be on hand at the conference: Captain J. Charles "Charlie" Plumb, a former Navy pilot and a Vietnam prisoner of war, and former Pittsburgh Steelers fullback Rocky Bleier.
